2 Stocks in a Predawn Dance-The Oprah/Elon Ticket!

After all, Celebrity is the new Leader of the Free World C.V.

Over the weekend, both Oprah Winfrey and Elon Musk made headlines.

Elon Musk had two major announcements.

First, Musk launched a powerful rocket called the Falcon Heavy.

SpaceX’s new monster spacecraft will be able to lift into orbit over 54 metric tons (119,000 lbs), which is a “mass equivalent to a 737-jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel.”

Secondly, Musk announced a “Rockin’ Drive-In Restaurant, Roller Skating and Theater coming to Tesla Supercharger Stations” coming soon.

You can eat, enjoy a film or roller-skate while your Tesla charges up.

If you add up both announcements, you can have fun, charge your car and look up as the rocket carries a Tesla Roadster on its test flight.

Oprah Winfrey, the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement recipient, has more left to do in her lifetime.

During her “MeToo” acceptance speech, she sounded quite like a Presidential candidate.

During the market session, rumors came out that she is indeed, considering a 2020 run.

Here’s the fun part.

The same attention that went into creating the pats of seahorse butter pictured, is the same attention that 2 stocks, both heavily staked by today’s headliners, received.

Will an Oprah/Musk ticket bring us food, entertainment while keeping us trim, healthy and rich?.

Right out of the gate, Weight Watchers (WTW) and Tesla (TSLA) performed as leaders posting huge gains.

The chart on the left is of Weight Watchers. The one on the right is Tesla.

The blue lines are the 50 Day Moving Averages and the green lines the 200 DMA.

WTW began the session slightly above the 50 DMA, already in a bullish phase.

Once the session began, WTW shot straight up-the Oprah bump big time!

At one point, WTW gained 13.5%, finally settling up 12% higher.

TSLA, began below both the 50 and 200-DMAs or in a Bearish Phase.

Like the heavy Falcon rocket, TSLA took off clearing both MAs and closing up over 6%.

WTW can head to 60.00 if it holds over 50.00. TSLA, should it hold 320, could see 360 then 380 or higher.

Seahorses, before breeding, may court for several days. Called the “predawn dance,” they eventually engage in the “true courtship dance” before they consummate.

Watching our two seahorses engage is sexy, fun and profitable.

S&P 500 (SPY) Melt-up

Russell 2000 (IWM) Would have been nice to see this close over 155. The good news is that it held the 10 DMA now at 153.81.

Dow (DIA) The strong quiet type with 249 major underlying support

Nasdaq (QQQ) Melt-up continues
