Will the classes be recorded and made available for review?
Can I record the classes?
We want to make sure that you experience the whole course! We will permit you to record the classes if you know how. We will also be recording every class.
WWe record every class for the purpose of making the recordings available to paid attendees who missed a class due to scheduling, tech issues, or just for review. We make every
effort to produce good and reliable recordings, but we can not guarantee that every class records perfectly. As such, our creation and distribution of the recorded classes is not
viewed as part of the cost of the course and so there is no additional charge for their access. Recordings are provided "as is" and we are not obligated to issue refunds due
to errors in the recordings.
We expect that our support of personal recordings will result in quite a few recording made of every class. As a result, we believe that we will have recordings of all the classes
to make available to you. /p>
Please bear in mind, our willingness to allow recording does not change the fact that all material presented during the class is the property of Scott Landers and Dataview, LLC and may not be redistributed. Any recordings made may only be used and viewed by course attendees. Any redistribution of recorded material requires the written consent of Scott Landers and Dataview, LLC.
What will you do live in the markets? Will there be live trading?
This is by far one of our favorite questions.
As many know Scott has done this type of real-time trade analysis in prior live courses.
We will educate in this regard with live instruction detailing how we view specific trade
scenarios so you can see in real-time our thought process. This has been a highly educational
experience in the past.
Please make no mistake...while we will point out trades that we would take from start to finish,
this does not mean we will execute trades. Furthermore, we ask that you do not trade while attending
the class. This is an educational course and not a call room. If your decision to attend is based
on trading the stocks we discuss in real-time please reconsider attending. We aim to educate and
apply that information to real life examples so you can see how we would use the information.
The decision to spread the live sessions out over the course of a month is very deliberate.
This way you can focus on our instruction (rather than your P&L) in real-time knowing you can apply
what you’ve learned over the following week, and then return to the next live training with your own
experience.
Will I need TradeStation or HotScans for the course?
No, you will not need TradeStation or HotScans for this course.
We believe that a good trader can trade with any product and any platform that displays price
and volume. We are you going to show you how and why.
WWe both like TradeStation and HotScans, and we would recommend them to make your trading easier, however they are not required for attending or learning the course material. We
have gone out of our way to make this course platform and product independent, and will even be recommending non-MarketGauge products.
Geoff would say that the effectiveness of this course will empower traders to trade without the assistance of HotScans or MarketGauge. However, MarketGauge knows that even the best
of traders want to make their life easier which is the reason to use their products, and good traders stay customers for longer.
Can I see the Curriculum? Curriculum?
Yes, click here or go to the "Curriculm Outline" tab above for an outline of our curriculum to review what we will be covering.
This will give you an outline of not only the content but also the thought process
that has gone into this course.
What webinar technology will we use?
We use HotCommCL, a webinar based media system, for our delivery of the presentation. It will allow us to educate via video, voice and text chat over the internet. This means you will sit back and watch the instructors desktop and listen to the audio via your computer speakers. The webinar software does enable the class participants to speak if you have a microphone, but our experience has been that the best way to conduct group presentations is to have you ask questions via the text messaging and only open a microphone at specified times or if the text chat becomes too cumbersome for a specific discussion.
